bella_taurus | For 2012, I will be in a #3 personal year...can anyone tell me their experience, while going through a personal #3 year? |
sesame | I love 3. The new seeds you have sown in your 1 year now begin to take hold into your 2nd year.. 'A personal year 2 is a wait and see time; a year when you will find yourself in the background and very much in a stage of development. Very deep relationships with a person of the opposite sex (including marriage) may be more apt to occur during a 2 year' http://www.astrology-numerology.com/num-personalyear.html Heading into a #2 year myself this 2012.! |
Randall | Thanks. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
anongrl10 | 2012 is also my personal year 3 but not until my birthday in Nov! Does it mean that until then I'm still in year #2? |
Randall | Nope, it's the whole year. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
anongrl10 | Randall, are you sure? Because the way to calculate the personal year is by using your birth day and birth month and the current year. So, in that respect, it seems, your personal year only starts from your birthday onward. I don't know if that differs in Chaldean but in numerology that seems to be how it is believed that it works: from birthday to birthday. I wonder if in Chaldean you calculate your personal year differently.
|
Randall | I'm pretty sure it's the whole year. You use your birthday to calculate it, but it refers to the whole year. I've never read anything about Pythagorean numerology to suggest otherwise. But I could be wrong. |
anongrl10 | It was suggested to me by a friend who had done my personal year the way I explained, that it's in effect from my birthday onward. And in fact I found this to align with events in my life. Hmm, I wish we could find out for certain. Is there any difference in the Chaldean manner of calculating the personal year?
|
amurr | Many have told me that my personal year starts on my birthday. After many years of waiting for the new change around my birthday I found the change starts around the 1st of the year for me. For someone else it may start on the birthday. |
Chahldean | All Numerology deals with Numbers and their Vibrations...no matter what system you use. Being ambiguous in it's Origins, due to the many calendars used by many civilizations throughout recorded Time "Points of Origin" or "where to start the Year" are still in question between many points of View. For instance, the current calendar used by most of the known World today dates this year to be 2012, based upon the accepted notion that JC was born 2012 years ago... Without getting into the details, we will assume this to Be True and move forward from there. To calculate One's personal Year Numerically, you certainly add: One's Month+ One's Day + Current Year. However, Numerologically and Metaphysically, One's personal Year doesn't begin until YOU arrived in that Place, or on One's actual Birthday, making your Personal Year from birthday to birthday. The Shift from Year to Year certainly starts upon the agreed Date of 1/1 but the effect of the Personal Year doesn't fully "kick in" until One's arrival at their Birthday.... making the full effect of the Number happen at different Times for different Signs. Some feel it right away and in Full Force such as Capricorns and Aquarians....(Cronos) while others such as the Autumn babies may feel it later in the calculated Year, making them "late bloomers." I hope this helps. ------------------ Gnosis ThySelf Knowledge bows to Spirit |
Randall | I'm not sure that there's a personal year in Chaldean. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
anongrl10 | This makes sense and validates my suspicions. The thing is even a solar return does not "kick off" until your birthday. For me, a Nov-born Saggie, my SR for year 2012 will start in Nov 2012 on my birthday. Until then I get the SR for 2011. |

Aha! |

2011 was a number 3 personal year for me. It was a very emotional year. It's one of those years where everything sort of catches up with you, good and bad. I had some big moments but because it was an emotional year, I had to do some major soul searching. Before 2011 I had a very low sense of worth because of things and experiences that I hadn't come to terms with such as the loss a of friend and family member and life changing moments etc. But it was a year of healing, most definitely. I'd say a number 3 year allows you to really get in touch with yourself and where you've been and where you truly want to go. It's not so much a year of celebration and parties as it is a year of self actualization in a sense, which I guess is worth celebrating. 2012 will be a number 4 year for me, it's going to be a year of hard work I already know it. We are half way through January and I'm already tired from all the traveling and work I've had to do... Good Luck with your number 3 year, it promises to be a worthwhile year. |
Randall | Did a Google search just to see what I could find, and now I'm just more confused. Apparently there's two schools of thought on Personal Years. I did find a lot of numerologists who say it's based on the Universal year and is from January 1 to December 31...but that one will more strongly feel its effects around the birthday. I typed in: when does the numerology personal year begin. |
Randall | I agree that it makes more sense that it begins on one's birthday. But there is definitely a debate among numerologists. |
